Pisces Sun Sign People: Poetic, Prayerful, Private

Pisces is depicted by two fish, swimming in different directions. This symbolizes the Pisces tendency to act on impressions of surroundings with persistence one minute, and a lack of determination the next. This sign is a mutable, or easily bored, water sign, and its natives are the dreamers of the Zodiac. Pisces Sun Sign people celebrate their birthdays somewhere between Feb. 21 and March 21^st, but as usual, this must be verified by an Ephemeris, the book which provides the correct zodiac signs and degrees every planet, the Sun and Moon are in for a period of at least fifty years.

Pisces sun sign people are gentle, kind and sensitive towards others. They are the most psychic people you know. My brother is Pisces, and lives across the country from me. Although I am not Pisces, I am Cancer with a Scorpio Ascendant, and have psychic experiences myself. We do not have to call each other, but can be perfectly aware of what is happening in each other’s lives. He has a girlfriend who doubted this until she heard him say “Jean is going to call about such and such happening today”, and it was true on many occasions. She is now a believer.

Pisces sun sign people are often very spiritual, and will dig deeply to find the answers to their Metaphysical questions about life. They are terrific storytellers, probably because they speak with anyone they meet and have such great empathy towards all people. They often work with the ill or downtrodden people in jails, hospitals, or homeless shelters, and many may be monks or join the Priesthood to serve a congregation. Pisces people make great Astrologers, Tarot readers, novelists, oceanographers or fisherman, cruise directors or career Navel Officers. There is a part of them that wants to serve those who need help and hope the most.

Pisces is the Astrological water sign that is the most easily swayed, and the one who will most easily fall into a pattern of alcoholism and drug addiction. This is a necessary evil when a person is ruled by mysterious Neptune. It is imperative that they try to stay away from situations where this kind of behavior is acceptable or drugs are too available. If they cannot, and it is a Pisces sun sign person you care for, try to help them find other interests and friends. Since they are restless to begin with, they exhibit an almost childlike delight when they are having fun or experiencing something new, and safer for them. Thus is can be easy to distract them into healthier activities. Pisces sunsign people tend to be secretive, and are usually interested in several occult subjects, since they are so psychic. They are also hopeless romantics, and will search hard to find their soul mate. Sometimes Pisceans are downright spooky, but always right on target.

The Gemstone that corresponds to Pisces sun sign people is the purple Amethyst. Modern research shows that purple light rays have been found to cause a calming effect upon nervous or hysterical patients. This is not surprising, as purple is the color of the crown chakra. An amethyst bestows calm and soothing feelings in times of stress for Pisceans (and others too). These semi precious stones in various shades of purple are lately found mostly in Brazil. The wearer will feel calmer in emergencies if they wear this stone, and have charitable thoughts. They will find that negative thoughts are repressed and success comes to them more easily in their endeavors if they have an amethyst on them. In ancient times, amethyst was often used in Episcopal rings, or in the making of rosaries, thus being known as “The Bishop Stone.” Many people also use amethyst pendulums in their work, including myself. I find my mind is clearer when I wear Amethyst.

Because they are restless souls and have trouble being still (unless they are meditating) they do not often live in one place, or stay in one job or career. Pisces sun sign people change interests, hobbies and friends often. They make devoted and loving partners, and sympathetic and kind hearted parents. Parenthood is a great place for that story telling ability, and a Pisces parent sees the world almost with the same delight as their own child. Pisces rules the feet, and any of your Pisces friends has a whole closet filled with shoes (honest, go check, and it doesn’t matter if they are boys or girls). These are the friends who always have time to listen to your problems and sympathize, and will offer advice to make you feel better. Pisces natives are very imaginative, idealistic, and go out of their way to assist others. They are the “old souls” of the Zodiac, since they are the last sign, exhibiting traits and opinions beyond their years even while very young.

The key phrase for Pisces is “I believe.” These people really want to do the right thing, but they do not possess strong will power. They must learn to stand alone and face life without being so influenced by others. Pisces sun sign people need to spend time alone, they actually must have private time, so please give them some space. They are willing to suffer before they will hurt someone else’s feelings, and will help them stand up for their rights. These are people of tremendous faith, even if they are not religious, they have faith that life or situations will turn out the way they are supposed to be.

Pisces sun sign people have great charm, humor and sympathy. They are a tad lazy and can allow their lives to drift, so it is helpful if they have a partner that is of a more sensible and down to earth personality. Since Pisces has the dual symbol of the two fishes, they can be strongly optimistic about life, or turn in the other direction and become very pessimistic. You never know. They are not ambitious in a material way, they really do not care about “things” at all. They know if they follow their very strong instincts they will be OK. They are very aware of undercurrents and what other people are thinking of them, not that they care so much. They just feel it. Pisces people know they need to listen to that strong inner voice. It is what makes them so unique and when they listen to their inner self they are the happiest.

They live partway in a dream world, but if some of that can be directed the right way, they make great artisans. Pisces of all walks of life will devote their time and strength (which is not all that strong in itself) to sick or helpless people, with no thought for themselves or their own health needs. They are almost saintly in that way. They are unselfish, devoted, lovable, and will sacrifice much for love. A Pisces Sun Sign person needs people to look after them, or their world can become a very complex place. They cannot help everyone at the expense of their own health and sanity. But somehow knowing there are still people who care so deeply somehow makes the World a little better place to be in, doesn’t it?
