Gemini Moon Sign People: Gabby, Gaity, Gracious

Gabby, Gaity, Gracious

The phone is ringing yet again. You take a look at the phone number, and see that it's your Gemini Moon Sign friend who already spoke with you several times today. And it's still early. To be fair, she's a great communicator, and a fluent speaker in several languages. But sometimes she can get downright nosy. Even though she is fun to have around, she does pry into matters that do not concern her at times. Certain matters are private, and you do not always want to hear every detail about everyone else's life. It is hard to tell her she talks too much. Maybe if you are lucky her cell phone battery will need to be recharged for awhile pretty soon!

Minds Crowded With Thoughts

Since Gemini moon sign people have to juggle their changing emotions, it can be difficult to keep up. Which one of the Twins are you dealing with now? It is even hard for them to understand their complex emotional and vacillating natures. They can be equally attracted to two different people, or to two different ideas. They have so much trouble making up their minds. This trait can make them seem superficial, but that is not the truth. Gemini moon sign people just have very active minds and think about too many subjects at once. Think of a runaway train. All those thoughts and ideas just get out of control. They can change their minds several times in the course of one day. They are really only trying to be fair.

Literary and Career Pursuits

Gemini moon sign people have a very lively intellect. They love politics, and keep abreast of all the happenings in the world. They are highly literate, well read, and also very good at writing. They grasp new ideas and concepts very quickly, even complex ones. Geminis like science and math too. They have a quick and witty sense of humor. They enjoy artistic and literary pursuits, so will love going to art galleries and concerts, perhaps even being the creator of the show itself. They are very progressive thinkers, ready to toss out old ideas that no longer do any good. A Gemini Moon sign is quite resourceful when it’s time to find a solution to a problem. They think about life from a much different and varied perspective than most people. Careers for Gemini Moon Sign people include, Journalism, Artists, Teachers, Linguists, Actors, or Detectives. Their crafty minds can get them in trouble though, so hopefully they stay on the right side of the law and do not use their great ideas to hatch illegal plots!

Gemini Moon Sign Love Life Complications

Their love interests are based on mental interest at first. Gemini moon sign love affairs take place in the mind to a certain degree. The object of affections has to be intelligent and able to keep up with the Gemini moon sign person, or will be replaced very quickly. It’s not unusual for a Gemini moon to be in love with two people at once, a very difficult position to be in. The fact is, they aren’t lying, but will have to sort it all out and tell the truth to each party. This can be an issue as well. I would not say a Gemini Moon sign is a liar, but they can stretch the truth quite a bit when it suits them too. The problem is that they can really be attracted to both people, but this is unfair, so must be worked out to the satisfaction of the parties. Or worked out to the satisfaction of at least two of the parties. They tell one person a few parts of a story of situation, and another a few different facts of the matter. But each person only has the parts of the story the Gemini moon sign person wants them to know. This can make them seem superficial, but is also confusing to them. They forget who they told what. They really need to be more careful about how they color a tale’s specifics to whoever the listener is.

Must Learn To Rest

Gemini Moon people are very active, and like to get out and party. They also move to different residences with more frequency than the average person. All this frenetic motion eventually catches up with them. That restless nature makes them susceptible to nervousness, being jumpy, and to not eating well. When they get so busy, they won’t even take the time to eat a meal. All Gemini Moon sign people love travel, and need to take frequent short trips to recharge their energy. Except once they arrive at the destination, you guessed it, they aren’t going to rest anyway. They really have to learn how not to spread themselves too thin. This is a hard lesson for a Gemini moon sign person to absorb, and they may have to make themselves sick quite a few times before they either learn to slow down a bit, or try to decide which activities really must be done. And some things can go on the back burner for another day. This is something they may be able to achieve as they get older.

Sometimes They Are Really Twins

A good conversation with a Gemini Moon sign person is wonderful, because they really are very ingenious. Bring on your problems, and they will think of ways to solve them which never crossed your mind. But before you know it, they may get off on many other topics, as their attention spans are not that long. So make the most of your time with them.

A Gemini Sun or Moon Sign person can possibly be a real twin. Since the Moon rules Motherhood, they can be adopted, thus having an adoptive Mother and a Birth Mother. Gemini Moon Sign People will try hard to forge bonds with both. They normally like to stay on good terms with people as much as possible. These people really liven up a crowd, and are popular at parties. They are hard workers, but need to work in short spurts, rather than spending many hours on one project. But they will complete what needs to be done. Gemini moon sign people are always quick with a joke, or an interesting story. Give them a call when you need a break and want to have some fun!

Hi Jean,

Yeap, you've read me right! Thanks to you, I finally have a full horoscope - it all makes more sense now....

Thanks and God Bless

Hi John,

I'm so happy you were able to cast your horoscope using my instructions. I wrote another hub about interpretation a few weeks ago, and called it something like Astrological Fallacies Exposed. I get so tired of people who think the only thing that matters is the sign your Sun is in, which is such a small part of it all. Since they never study the subject, it bothers me that they are so quick to dismiss it, I had a bad experience on Reddit. But it still seems average people think the Sun is the whole thing. Why would people much more intelligent than I study the stars for centuries if they had so little meaning? It's very gratifying to know you learned. It took me one course to do the math years ago. Now that you drew up a horoscope, make loads of copies of it. As you get better at interpretation (use my hub or feel free to email me at home) you can use pencil, and using your Ephemeris, put the planets from January 2012 on your chart in the correct houses, since the signs are on the cusps. Then you will be able to forecast what may be approaching you in your life early next year! Those are called transits, and Robert Hand wrote the book on those. I don't know if I have it on any hubs, but I have an Amazon store on my blog with the most important Astrology books on it. Music, Astrology, you are really becoming quite the Renaissance man!

Hi Jean,

Question for you. Since we change with age, which sign becomes more prevalent in our later years, our sun sign or moon sign? - Or, do they always influence the person make up? Since you're so knowledgeable about these things I thought I'd ask....

Thanks

John

Hi John,

Since we change with age, it does change our horoscope, but not in a way that makes the sun, moon sign, or other planets more or less important. One thing you do as you get older is pay more attention to the transits, so I hope you bought an Ephemeris (especially from me, lol)! Then you can look at the major planets and their motion, and pencil in their positions now on your birth chart. That's why I tell people to make a whole slew of copies of the birth chart, so you have one every time you need to update your transits. Look at Jupiter, you can be on the lookout for good and advantageous opportunities in your life. There is something called a progressed chart or horoscope. Say you were born on July 15, 1976, making you 35 yrs old (arbitrary, don't know your age). Go back to that 7/15/76 date in the ephemeris and look at the line of planets on the day you were born. Underline them in pencil if it helps. Count downward to the age you are now, making 7/16 # 1, etc. and you will see your Progressed Sun and Progressed moon. If you proceed exactly as you did when you cast your birth chart, this is a chart of what is happening in the sky now. So as a sun sign Cancer, the Sun moves 1 degree each day, but in this case counts as 1 year. If you count 35 lines down, the Sun, called your progressed sun, most likely will be in Leo. That will make you more outgoing, creative, and stubborn or determined in the past few years, it's in the early degrees of Leo if I guessed your age right. The same is true of the progressed moon. Begin where you underlined the planets on your birthday, and count 35 or however many lines down depending on your age. Your Moon will not likely be in Gemini, though it's possible. Then you can just read the explanations I have hubs on for the traits of those sunsigns and moonsigns. Progressed charts tell alot. The year I got married, Venus was conjunct my Sun (a real love connection thing) and for Louie, his progressed Sun was conjunct his Moon. In a man's chart, the moon represented the woman in his life. You don't have to cast a whole chart, just count down to get the sun and moon signs for your current age. Let me know how it goes! Talk soon. Jean

Jean, you're too kind, but I was born in 1964! Most people say I don't look or act my age. I always wanted to know where my sporadic boldness came from - now I do...LOL

Thanks again and take good care of yourself

John

P.S I shot some fan mail your way....

Jean Bakula Hub Author 7 months ago

Hi John,

Thank you for the beautiful fan mail, you really outdid yourself. It's funny, I wrote about Astrology when I came to HP because I could write alot off the top of my head, tarot is my interest now, the book I self published, and what I read from the Metaphysical store. But you have renewed my interest, and that's why I wrote alot of the specialty hubs, like Saturn Return. I'm so glad you give me feedback. Another person also said they were able to cast a chart themselves, and that they are doing it faster. There are harder ways to do it, with algorithms and jazz, and my husband casts the charts that way. But we come out with the same results. I'm not working now so I have time, but am seriously thinking of teaching an Astrology course instead now. I could actually do both, my friend owns the store. As far as age, people act younger and stay engaged in activities more in our generation (even without botox and all that) so I think we all act more youthful. My brother was born in 1965. He lives in SanDiego, but we can send psychic messages back and forth and know if things are OK or if something is wrong. I can't do that unless I know people well. My husband and I are taking Metaphysics courses and just began a new one. I meditate, and am trying to get back into a regular discipline of it. But we are doing exercises where one class mate puts an item on a tray, and we are supposed to pick up psychically what it is. Neither my husband or I can do that, yet others in the class can. It seems some of them know each other better. But I can do a tarot reading and people say it's like I know them. At least we have the tarot cards, some kind of bridge between us, I guess that's the problem. So where was your progressed moon? Leo definitely will make you bolder, more sociable, and more stubborn, but in a friendly way. Leos love to socialize, so you may be going out more! Take care and happy you are learning :).

What fascinates me the most is when I look back in hindsight. People whose attraction to me (in a good/bad way...) I never understood, I do now. I've been checking this website lunarian and I see many of these people were all born under Capricorn or Sagittarius moon or sun signs, hence the attraction - some friendly and some not, but most fixated on me. Furthermore, I usually get along to some degree with Cancers and Gemini, though not always....

Which brings me to the next topic: Gemini and Sagittarius seem to have quite an intensity towards each other?....

Anyway, I meant every word I said about you - you know your stuff!

Take care

John

Hey John! I studied Astrology very seriously for several years, and it is still a hobby, though I seldom cast new charts anymore. I never explored past life charts, and since I find I believe in reincarnation at this time in my life, I may look into them.

If you read Do Opposites Attract in Astrology Part 1, you will get an idea about that Gemini/Sag dynamic. Since you are Cancer, Capricorn is also your oppostie sign. I explain about that in Part 2 of the same hub name. Opposites in Astrology have a lot in common. They want the same things, but go about getting them in different ways. Each admires the qualities the other has, and wishes they had them. I wrote the 2 parter as romantic partnerships, but it can be interpreted in a non romantic one too. So in your chart, that's 2 opposite dynamics going on. Opposites will feel intensity towards each other. Plus I don't know your whole chart, but as a Cancer you could have Mercury and Venus in Gemini (I do)! So my mind is always on 5 things at once, and I talk about them all at the same time. Louie goes crazy, and says stuff like, "OK, I understand you are talking about your book, you went to a Dr. Appt, and something is wrong with your car. You lost me on the other two." He says I have too many variables, lol. Also, he says in science that like forces repel. So you can see that in the other Cancers you don't get along with. I notice that although I am Cancer, I do not get along with all Cancers. My sister-in-law is Cancer, one of the morticians with the moon in her 8th house, and she treated their parents so badly at the end of their lives I have only spoken to her at family funerals for the last 5 or 6 years. I can get along with other Cancers, but usually the ones who have more planets in Gemini. So you are right about the intensity. In a love relationship, it's a soul mate, but you may drive each other crazy and not end up together. My first love was a Capricorn, and I just couldn't get along with him for more than a few days! Even if we get that vibe that someone doesn't like us, we can still feel that pull or attraction, so it's real with opposites, it just isn't always workable. I have Scorpio Ascendant and Capricorn moon, and since Sag is the sign between the 2, almost always get along with Sag people. I love their intelligence, and the way they sort of live and let live. There are talkative Sag people and the quiet ones. You are becoming quite the Astrologer yourself. Check out the Ascendant or Rising sign links, that may give you further insight into people now and in your past. Take care, Jean

Hi....I am a Sun Cancer and Gemini moon and I can relate allot to this article. I always have to be doing more than one thing at a time: Watching tv while using my laptop while talking on the phone with a snack on the table...and my girlfriend tells me that I can't be still that I always have to be doing something. Sometimes I just feel bored and I have this energy to do something and I just go...Great Article and thanks again.

Hello Ashaw,

Thanks for writing in. I can relate, I am a Cancer Sun, but my Mercury (my mind) is in Gemini, and I'm always thinking about several things at once. It makes my husband crazy, although he's gotten used to it over the years. He says he can figure out maybe 3 topics from what I say, and maybe there's one "mystery" topic. So now if you go on my Astrological Ascendants hub, you can use the link on it to find your "trinity." Then take your Sun, Moon, and Ascendant, mix it all up, and that's a pretty good picture of who you are, how you seem to be (ascendant) and your inner self (the Gemini Moon). Best wishes, feel free to ask questions, though I can't cast horoscopes here.

Very interesting hub and comments. I have a Gemini Moon so I can relate to a lot of what you say here. I was an excellent language arts student in elementary and high school, majored in linguistics with a French minor in college, and have been primarily a writer throughout my work career. Love to read, and like Ashaw said, I have to be doing several things at once, e.g., watching tv and crocheting, then reading when the commercials come on :-).

I was also deeply into astrology in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, met Robert Hand when my astro friends and I went to San Diego for an astrology conference in the 80s, and started off in the 70s doing charts by hand (I have software now - a lot easier).

I have just been through a VERY rough second Saturn return, along with my daughter who experienced her first Saturn return at the same time (I had her at 30). We are both looking for things to improve in 2012, although numerologically speaking, this is a "9" year for me.

Anyway, I'm glad you commented on my tarot hub. It's great to be able to chat with people who "speak my language."

Rated up and interesting!!

Hi,

I'm so happy to hear from you and read your comments. It is great to meet someone who speaks the language. I'm sorry to hear you had a tough 2nd Saturn return. My Dad passed on for my 1st one, and I think my marriage is going to be involved in this one. I'm 56, so I have a little time as it approaches, and who knows for sure what will happen. My tarot readings look like I'll find more direction. I self published a book and now that the printing issues have been resolved, have to get marketing it. A 9 year means you are close to an ending of something, so I hope it's something you want to end. Sort of like when you get the Tower, and get fired from a job you hate, lol! I hope your daughter is getting her breath back after her Saturn return, that's tough, both of you going through one at once. I really only wrote about astrology when I came to HP because I know it off the top of my head. I learned before it was computerized, and when I first tried, all my charts came up backwards. I'm mostly interested in tarot and other stuff now, but so many people responded to the Astrology hubs in a positive way, it's renewed my interest. It must have been cool to meet Hand, his books were the the text used for the computer interpretations. I never did past life regressions in astrology, and lately in my metaphysics group we've been talking about reincarnation. I picked up a book at the library to check it out. It's a small town, where the "New Age" section is about 2 shelves, I never expected to find anything. New Age is up there with voodoo. I offered to teach a free tarot class from my tarot book I wrote, and they turned me down!

Well, my mom didn't make it through her second Saturn return, and interestingly enough it was during MY first Saturn return. My daughter was about 18 mos. old when she passed, and I've always thought that some part of my mom (Seth's "aspects of consciousness"?) got absorbed into my daughter who has some of her personality traits.

During my last 9 year, my father passed away, so yes, I understand the meaning of the number 9. I really can't say what's going to pass away during the coming year. Perhaps the old way of viewing reality or some personality traits I need to let go of. But who knows for sure? Time will tell.

I really haven't found a metaphysical group here in Hawaii that I resonate it. Plus, it has a very strong Christian vibration because of the missionary influence back in the day. Washington DC, where I'm from, had a vibrant metaphysical community, so I miss that. Last Christmas, I offered tarot readings as Christmas gifts and they were politely refused. But there are a couple of metaphysical bookstores on the island which I should probably frequent more to meet like-minded people.

And while I know a lot about astrology, I much prefer tarot because I am visual, have an active dream life, and get intuitive guidance in the form of pictures in my mind's eye. So tarot is perfectly suited to that.

I understand. I believe my Dad is somewhere inside my son, he never met him, since he died years before my son was born. But he is like him, and has some gestures that remind me of him. It's funny, I just answered your comment about Motherpeace. There are many conservative Christians here, so watch out. Stay off the forums. But I notice people who don't respond when I talk about tarot. I self published a book of tarot poetry, but it's meant to be instructive, and I'm having trouble convincing libraries in northern NJ to let me teach a course! The religion forums are hilarious, if you don't get involved in the fray.
