I am a fifty-something woman who lives in a pretty cottage on a one lane road in the woods, surrounded by nature. I strongly believe that age is only a number.

I have worked in both Accounting and Banking, and am pursuing my own interests now, two main ones being reading and writing. I have been an avid reader all my life, normally engrossed in 2 or 3 books at a time. I have also been a Professional Astrologer for over 35 years, and Professional Tarot card reader for 10 years.

 I live with my husband of 32 years and young adult son. My husband and I are both nature lovers. Our  son has a degree in Humanites and Elementary School Education grades K-5, and practices martial arts.

To my Astrology followers, you are the best and I really enjoy interacting with you! You may ask me questions about Astrology and the Tarot, either here or on my Metaphysical website. In fact, my own site would be more correct. But be aware that I cannot get deeply involved in trying to solve your problems. You have Free Will, a horoscope only tells me what potentials and pitfalls are there.  I have outlined what you need to do, and what I will do, so I am able to offer horoscopes on my site. I began writing about Astrology when I first came to HP, because it was an old interest I knew lots about, but you made me realize how much I love it. I am working on new Sunsign pieces there, the ones where I take a person of a Sunsign, and take the character through a typical day doing, say, what an Aries person might do. You have responded well to the Moonsign pieces I wrote here in that style. The Venus in each Astrology Sign series is continuing on http://www.Spiritualitypathways.com. and lots more is happening there!

 I have not yet discussed our Mercurys (how we think and communicate) or Mars, what we like to do physically, how active we are, and in what capacities. There are also the outer karmic planets. We have so much more to discover! It is not only you who learn Astrology from my writing, I learn so much from your feedback as well!

Last Fall 2011, my book of Tarot poetry was published. I thought it was an original way to learn to read, rather than memorization. If you want to buy the book, Pathways Through Spirituality, it is available on Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble.com, and other online booksellers. It can also be ordered from the publisher, Xlibris Publishing, at the Author Center of the site under my name (I use my real name here). I will benefit in the form of royalites from the publisher if you order my book.

My husband and I have been taking courses in Metaphysics and Parapsychology together, as members of the NJ Metaphysical Society. It's a six year series. The last one was about exploring our psychic powers. We all have them, but it's up to us to develop them. We did a lot of meditation exercises, and every person in the group was pretty psychic! We discussed the lost continents of Lemuria and Atlantis, and I'm reading lots of Edgar Cayce now, to learn more. I am sure much of what I learned will be written about.

My husband and I took Astrology courses together soon after we met, so it's kind of fun to be returning to an old interest together again. I have already been motivated to begin my old practice of meditation.

I finally realized the importance of exercise about 6 years ago, when my chronic scoliosis got much worse. I went on a diet, lost 60 pounds, and got over my fears of physically hurting myself. My energy soared, and along with the weight loss and I I began taking water aerobics 2X a week, and walking a half hour the other 4 days. I kept 50 pounds off, and it really feels good! Exercise not only relaxes you, it empowers you, and gives you energy. Go for it!

We live about 45 minutes from NY, so are lucky to have close access to all the shows and sites there. I love classic rock. I have also been fortunate to visit Jamaica 4 times in the last few years, as I went once and fell in with the country. I hope to return!
